Our new flavor!

We're happy to announce that we have a new flavor: three milk cake. If you like soaking your cake in milk, you're going to love this new sweet cake.

In addition, we're also happy to announce that Mugu Pie's cakes and confectioneries is a part of Carmen's Catering in Bakersfield, Ca.

We will be selling our cakes, of course, as well as cupcakes.

$1.50 per cupcake

The start of a busy weekend.

This is crazy busy cake weekend. I made a golf cake that turned out really well. It was a white cake with vanilla buttercream filling and chocolate buttercream icing. Made golf balls out of a gumpaste/fondant mixture.

Now onto the traditional lemon curd cake and the duckie cake.

Welcome to the Mugu Pie's website. I'm Alison, the creator of Mugu Pie's, and I'm excited to get the website going. I hope you enjoy the site (as well as have a burning urge for cake). In the future I'll keep you updated on the new types of cakes I'm making and the process of making them as well as the competitions I'll be entering... (perhaps the ICES competition in San Diego this August?).
