Guitar Chocolate Chip Cookie Cake

I finished the guitar/music cake. It's a giant chocolate chip cookie cake with buttercream frosting.

Halloween Cookie Cake

In honor of October and fall, I decided to dedicate my first cookie cake to Halloween. There will be another picture of a cookie cake tomorrow for a friend's son's birthday.

It will be guitar/music themed. It might even be have a jazz band theme. I'm making a jazz guitar out of a fondant/gumpaste mixture or from modeling chocolate. The rest will be decorated with buttercream frosting. Wish me luck!

Kern County Fair Competition

This year I decided to enter into the Kern County Fair for their cake decoration contest sponsored by Wilton and their baked cake contest. I entered a lemon cake with a lemon buttercream. It was absolutely delicious.

For the cake decoration contest, I decided to make a Ranma 1/2 cake (especially since there is none on the internet). Inspired by the mid-way point in the second season, I give you Ranma, Ryoga, Mousse, and Shampoo all in their cursed forms.

I hope I win, but if not, I feel like mine will be one of the more creative ones.

T-Rex Cake

Hey,

I haven't added a post in awhile. Some major changes... first off, I'm no longer associated with Carmen's Catering. Due to scheduling problems, I'm no longer available to use their kitchen. But I'm grateful that Carmen's Catering gave me the opportunity to work with them.

With other news, I finished my anticipated T-Rex cake, white cake with ganache filling decorated with chocolate buttercream frosting.

So if anyone needs a cake, you know where to look.
